In the Dark was created through an experimental process where I painted a still-life composition in the dark. The still-life consisted of only white objects and then I set up different color lights around the objects. When the overhead lights were turned off, the colorful lights reflected off of the white objects making them glow. I stepped out of my comfort zone but really enjoyed this unorthodox process of creating this piece.
